Pasta alla carbonara – with cream.

Ingredients (Serves 2):

2 Slices of smoked bacon, cut in thin parts.
100ml of single cream
2 tbsp of finely chopped parsley
50g of grated parmesan cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
200g of Spaghetti
3-4 small leaves of sage

Directions

Bring a large pan of water to boil, salt it with a small fist of salt and throw in the pasta.
While the pasta cooks, heat up the olive oil in a pan and toss in the bacon slices and the sage for 3-4 minutes on a medium flame. When the bacon gets crispy add the cream and the grated cheese to the mix and simmer for another 5 minutes, adding some water from the pasta should the sauce get too dry.
Mix with the pasta (after draining!) with the sauce, season with salt, pepper and ground nutmeg to taste. Enjoy!
